Moving away from traditional flask-based synthesis that has been practiced since the era of medieval alchemists, we are developing highly efficient organic small-molecule synthesis processes using flow methods, in which the reaction field is defined by microchannels.
This approach enables reaction processes that were previously unattainable through conventional batch synthesis.
